I am sad about this.

“We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”

Fergie and actor Josh Duhamel are separating after eight years of marriage.

The couple shares a 4-year-old son, Axl Jack, and from the sound of it things are amicable.

“With absolute love and respect we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year,” the couple told People in a joint statement. “To give our family the best opportunity to adjust, we wanted to keep this a private matter before sharing it with the public. We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family.”

Watch Fergie’s Dramatic New Trailer for ‘Double Dutchess’ Album

By in September 12, 2017 • Filed in: Double Dutchess, Multimedia Update

Fergie a.k.a. Stacy Ferguson just released a trailer for her upcoming visual experience album, “Double Dutchess: Seeing Double” on Thursday, August 31. In the two-minute trailer, the “M.I.L.F. $” hitmaker was seen in various outfits and settings.

The video also featured some tweets from Fergie’s fans who have been eagerly waiting for her new album. The posts included the hashtags #shame, #releasethealbum, #whereareyou, #trash, #noclass, #noalbum, #missyou and #boycottfergie. One of the tweets read, “You think your fans are really happy waiting for an album that took 10 years to be created? I think the f**k not.”

In the trailer, Fergie also reflected on her old music before teasing her hot new music to come. “It’s been difficult for me to trust the epiphany that I had,” she said in a voiceover. “That I will always be more powerful.”

In “Double Dutchess”, Fergie collaborated with Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and her four-year-old son Axl. The album is set to be released on September 22 with the visual experience premiering at an exclusive event.

“I’m sorry it’s taken so long, to those of you who have been waiting, I just got a kid and a husband and I need sleep and I just really cared about it,” Fergie previously explained during a Facebook Live chat, “But I hope it will be worth it. A lot of it is really autobiographical and, you know, I had four albums with [Black Eyed Peas], but that’s really not the time and place to air out some of my own personal feelings and thoughts and emotions. So my second album is the place for me to do so, so there’s a lot of emotion.” [Source]

Fergie Officially Announces Sophomore Album ‘Double Dutchess,’ Unveils First Two Songs

By in September 12, 2017 • Filed in: Double Dutchess

As if the Twitterverse wasn’t blowing up enough with the release of Taylor Swift’s new song, another pop star added to the hype with more long-awaited new music: Fergie’s second album release is officially on its way.

Talks of a sophomore effort from the former Black Eyed Peas singer have been swirling for years, rumored to be titled Double Dutchess as the follow-up to her 2006 solo debut The Dutchess. Rumors no more, as Fergie revealed on Twitter Friday morning (Aug. 25) that her new album drops Sept. 22 — and yes, it’s titled Double Dutchess.

But after making fans wait more than 10 years to hear new Fergie material, the Dutchess couldn’t make such a highly anticipated announcement without offering up some of the new tunes. Fergie shared two tracks promptly after tweeting the album news, the Rick Ross-featuring “Hungry” and “It Takes Two”-sampling “You Already Know” (featuring Nicki Minaj and produced by BEP-mate will.i.am). Both, of course, have plenty of the sass and confidence we’ve always seen from Fergie, hinting that Double Dutchess was worth the wait.

Along with the new album, Fergie will also be releasing Double Dutchess: Seeing Double, a visual experience to coincide with the record. The film will be shown in iPic® Theaters nationwide on Sept. 20, two days before the album release. Click here to pre-order the album and here for tickets to the visual experience.
