The Black Eyed Peas are ready for the Super Bowl on Sunday. And Fergie, the first woman featured in a halftime show since Janet Jackson, promises no “wardrobe malfunction.”

“It’s a challenge because you want to give a little sex appeal,”  Fergie said in a press conference. “But, you know you don’t want to get into any trouble. So we’re very particular on the wardrobe.”

The group follows in the footsteps of music legends who’ve performed at halftime, including The Who, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney.

“Being here in Dallas, playing the halftime show at the Super Bowl, it seems so surreal,” will.i.am, a group member said. “I remember as a kid, watching the halftime shows, watching Super Bowls. It’s a dream come true as a football lover.”

The Super Bowl airs Sunday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. [Source]
